Urgent care facilities just what doctor ordered
Holly Meisner, a recent transplant from Pittsburgh to Mount Laurel, found herself on a holiday weekend with three sick kids, a sick husband and her own health sinking fast. "We had some weird infection, with flulike symptoms. Getting all of us seen in an emergency room would have taken hours, plus $75 each in co-pays. A neighbor suggested urgent care and the experience made me a convert," said Meisner, a health care administrator.
